Coconut water has a great cooling effect to the body. Very good for people that experiences a lot of heat in the system. It's too bad coconut water is so expensive here in america. Whereas in India you can get fresh coconut right off the street for 25 cents!
If there is a Costco Warehouse Club, they are now selling coconut water (in cans and paper boxes). Of course, I'm speaking of Costco in Central Florida and this stocked product may be a result of the local Puerto Rican, Jamaican, Cuban and other islander influence. I'm lucky enough to live in a suburban region with a cornucopia of ethnic influences.
ReplyDeleteJohanna, the best coconut water I have found around here is from World Market, the brand is called ONE (product of Brazil). A one liter carton for $4.49 and it's excellent!
